Tips for Selecting the Best DIY Scaffold Tower

The best Do It Yourself Scaffold tower should not only provide excellent support, but should also be easy to transport and set up.  The following criteria will help any handyman choose the best scaffold tower for every job he comes across.

First, an excellent scaffold tower should provide excellent support.  It should have a large platform tower, and have even legs.  The more legs, the better; but just be sure the scaffold has a minimum of four towers.  If your scaffold job is in a hard spot, consider getting a tower made with extra legs to provide that excellent support. Also, material-wise an aluminium scaffold tower is the best for the job as it is lightweight.

Next,  DIY Scaffold Towers should be easy to set up and transport. This means that the joints should be easy to put together; there should be no intricate settings that will take a lot of fussing and twisting to get the tower set up.  While it is true you do not want the scaffolding buckling under you, neither do you want to spend more time than is necessary setting it up. Just remember, that while the beauty of the DIY Scaffold Tower is that even though it may require a little more setup than your typical step ladder, the time spent setting up the scaffold is far less time than it would take to open the step ladder, do the job, climb down and move the ladder, and repeat the process over and over.  Your tower should also be easy to transport once it is assembled.  Again, we do not want a scaffold sliding all over the place, dumping its worker unceremoniously.  Scaffolds with locks on the wheels are ideal for this situation. So look for a perfect combination of solidity, speed-setupm and portability in your DIY scaffold towers.

Scaffold Towers are rapidly gaining popularity among the working class.  But do your research before buying the best-looking deal.  After all, we are concerned more about safety and ease of handling than money, in the long run, right?
